Rare Bourbon Bottle Lottery

Take Home More Than Just A Medal

You can run a race anywhere, but what makes the Bourbon Trail Relay unforgettable? You guessed it – that sweet, amber nectar we call Kentucky Bourbon. Relay participants are treated to exclusive perks such as unique access to historic landmarks, behind-the-scenes distillery experiences, and some really delicious whiskeys.

We are thrilled to announce that we have worked with many of our partnering distilleries to bring you exclusive access to these unique and hard-to-find bottles!  All captains registered before the end of the year are automatically entered for a chance to win an opportunity to purchase one of these limited-production bourbons. Typically, lotteries for these special release bottles often attract hundreds of thousands of entries; however, as a registered captain of the Bourbon Trail Relay – your odds of winning just increased exponentially.

Here are some of the amazing bottles that you’ll have the chance to take home:

Old Forester’s 22nd iteration of its limited-edition Birthday Bourbon (2022 release) is presented at 96 proof. After showing exceptionally unique character during a tasting panel, the 11-year-old barrels were chosen specifically for Birthday Bourbon. The full allotment of the product represents one day’s production of Old Forester.

The highly anticipated 11th release of Angel’s Envy® Cask Strength Kentucky Straight Bourbon includes a limited run of just 16,980 bottles, crafted from some of the most remarkable barrels in our rickhouse. This release features an extraordinary profile that, even at 119.8 proof, is creamy and indulgent, making every sip of this spirit worth savoring.

All of Bardstown Bourbon Company’s Discovery Series releases push the boundaries of whiskey innovation, but Series #8 takes the program to a new level with its most complex creation to date. They start with an artfully crafted blend of whiskeys and add a custom selection of five oak staves. The result is a celebration of innovation and a spirit bursting with flavor.

This debut bottling of Peerless Small Batch Reserve is not only the first time it will be offered to the public, but it’s also the very first offering in the Frazier Museum’s new Bourbon Limited Club. Peerless Small Batch Reserve is drawn exclusively from their oldest barrels and showcases an array of flavors and a level of maturity that perfectly celebrates Peerless’s unmatched dedication to quality.

Since the beginning, Castle & Key has looked forward to the time that they could share their Bourbon with the world. Now, we raise a toast with some of the first proprietary Bourbon to be distilled and released by Castle & Key from the restored grounds of the historic Old Taylor Distillery in nearly five decades. This bottling will be a 2023 Bourbon release. Since it has not yet been selected or bottled, there are no tasting notes to share, but these releases sell out quickly and are highly sought after. This is your chance to guarantee a bottle before anyone else!

The newest expression of the Woodford Reserve Master's Collection Batch Proof is being lauded as the most unique Batch Proof they have ever released. This bottling was selected by a national retailer and as a result, was only available for purchase in a few select retail locations and as part of the VIP experience at the distillery, making it one of the most rare Master's Collections to date.

Lux Row’s limited-release double-barrel Bourbon was bottled to commemorate the grand opening of the distillery. As the name suggests, the Bourbon was aged in two different 12-year-old barrels allowing for an extra-aged expression highlighted by notes of caramel, vanilla, oak, and tobacco. The proof of 118.4 is a nod to the distillery, that opened its doors in April of 2018.

Little Book® Chapter 6, “To The Finish,” is the sixth chapter in the Little Book Whiskey series. This bottling is a blend of five whiskeys using different wood staves and barrel techniques that impart a unique flavor profile due to the secondary aging. The result is an extremely approachable dram, even for those who haven’t given cask-strength whiskey a try.

The 13th edition of the Heaven Hill Select Stock features an incredible 8yr Rye Whiskey finished for another two years on 36-month air-dried Chinquapin barrels charred to the 3rd level char. Fewer than five barrels were hand-selected for this innovative, highly-collectible bottling, and is available in small quantities at the Heaven Hill Bourbon Experience®.

Exposing Peerless Bourbon to two separate casks allows for two full barrel extractions. The result? Supercharged notes give this whiskey supreme complexity and mouthfeel. Our dedicated tasting team strategically selects barrels with prominent grain, fruit, and herbaceous notes as they are complemented well by the extra barrel character.

Town Branch Maple Barrel Stout Finished Bourbon is a one-of-a-kind, handmade Bourbon and is a limited release of only 6,000 bottles. This unique expression of Town Branch Bourbon has been finished in freshly decanted Kentucky Maple Barrel Stout beer barrels to add flavors of the beer alongside traditional flavors of Bourbon.
